ALVIN – Head coach Breigh Rodriguez has the Alvin tennis program swarming during the 2019-2020 season.  Entering her third season leading the Jacket program, Rodriquez continues to communicate her mantra that “every point matters.”

With three seniors on varsity this season, the Jackets’ focus as one of the smaller sports has been to promote and advertise the sport to its fanbase and community.  Concerning player development, the Jackets key on increasing skills, mindset, and endurance.  “The most rewarding is seeing my athletes change into better tennis players,” said Rodriguez.  “This is the most challenging situation as well because it takes a lot of one on one time to help mold these young athletes.”

Please Note: The Alvin Tennis Banquet is Saturday, October 19th at Liberty Hall from 5pm-8pm. Tickets are $15 pre-sale or $20 at the door. Anyone is welcome to come to the banquet.  Activities will include dinner, silent auction, entertainment and more.
